College 101.

Something that I always think about (and it's kinda borderlining obsessive) is college.

I'm just EXTREMELY ready for a new start. New people. New place. New everything. This town will always be my hometown, but I'm ready to move to bigger and better things. I know I'm an adventorous person deep down inside, I just haven't had a chance to express it. Here are some of my college options in order...

1) University of North Texas

Like: Size, LOCATION DEFINITELY, academics, distance from home town

Dislikes: Pretty liberal, but it's not like that is gonna make or break my choice.

2) Appalachian State University

Like: I have a good feeling about it, good size, good academics, great location

Dislikes: A little colder than I'm used to and a little smaller than I wanted

3) University of North Carolina at Wilmington

Like: LOCATION!!! It's about five miles from the beach, which makes me very happy. Town size is good.

Dislike: It's a little small.

4) Texas State University

 

Like: Location, definitely. Inbetween Austin and San Antonio. Good size, good business school

Dislike: Known for being a party school (but aren't they all).

I'm hoping to talk to an admissions counselor for the out-of-state colleges to maybe get my out -of-state tuition waived. If not, then it is definitely not going to happen. Might as well try!

Those are my top 4 right now. I'm excited just thinking about it. I'm ready and curious to see where God will lead me!
