THANKSGIVING!

IT'S THANKSGIVING.

You know what that means right? It's the time of the year where stuffing your face is completely acceptable, even encouraged. It's like a dream.

I guess it will be completely fitting if I did a list of things I'm thankful for. But really... I am more blessed to have them. I won't puff myself up and say that i'm always thankful for these things, because as humans, it's in our nature to take advantage of the things we are blessed with, but I try my best. So here is my list of things I am blessed with/things I should be more thankful for.

1. The Cross

There is nothing more important than this, and nothing I could be more thankful for or blessed with. I can't put into words the beauty of salvation. A lot of people just don't get why we worship Jesus and say we are crazy, but all that doesn't matter because I have the most valuable thing in the world, and that is my salvation. Also, I have decided to refer to Jesus and his Disciples as JC and the Boys now. Yep.

2. My Parents

Yeah, yeah, I know I complain about them a lot, but I honestly don't know where I'd be without them. While I disagree with some things they do, they really did do a good job of parenting me, with some bumps along the way. I love them.

3. Gabi

There's so much to say because we've really been through a lot...mostly because of me. But despite all of the times I have wronged her, she has still stuck with me, and that's why I belive we'll always be good friends. I love her to death.

4. Tom and Deven Bowerman

Okay ya'll, there is almost too much to say about these two. They have become my Christian leaders. I'm not ashamed to say that my best friends are like 30 something cause trust me, they acts more like kids than I do. They're honestly like a second set of parents, and I am extremely blessed to have them in my life. I don't even know what I'll do without them when I leave...or as Deven says, I can't leave a 2 hour radius, so let's see if they even let me go off to college.

5. Vanessa

Who needs an ab workout when I have this girl? Man, we can laugh for HOURS over something so stupid. I have the time of my life with her. She is the sweetest girls you'll ever meet and one of the best friends i've ever had.

6. Haley

I love her no matter what.

7. Lastly, my Church

I'm glad I go to a bible believing church that teaches the truth. My youth group is just awesome, and proof that you can have a clean time and still laugh until your stomach hurts. They da best.

So there is my list of things I'm blessed with. We could all be more content with what we have...sometimes you just have to step back and look at the blessings.

Also...my hair is really awesome today...so I'm thankful for pinterest for teaching me the ways of good hair.
